The only source of light stayed steady like it was waiting or just existing. It acted as a like a heatless sun. Providing light but expelling no energy as a sun would do. The only known sense of life were now like energy leeches and the fate of living things is anyone's guess.

Starscream and Sari worked through the complete darkness, only the ambient light from the AllSpark Key and Starscream's optics. Using the limited light, Starscream was able to locate the solar panels from the station and with it make torso plating as well as gauntlets, all of them connected and the embedded key within the makeshift 'armor'.

Sari was inside his cockpit, being the only real way she could come along. Staying at the station was out of the question since she would've been drained without the key. "You think this is going to work?"

The ex-Decepticon stayed silent for a moment. How could he possibly be sure? But so many question he was asking himself now. Even if this did work, then what? Manually return the energy to everyone? Was that even an option? Regardless, having Tornedron keep all the energy like this wasn't a good thing, after all it was unlikely that despite how effectively he's darkened the entire galaxy, there were more than likely other planets and suns that have yet to be drained.

"Primus knows."

"I don't get it, how come Tornedron doesn't try to go away or attack us? I mean it knows that we have the key." Sari pointed out.

The seeker rubbed his chin for a moment before answering "As far as it knows, we're the last sparks of energy there is. Besides, if it takes us out, it has nothing to worry about. Half the reason why Megatron never left Earth, wanted the Autobots on Earth to not be a contributing factor when he made his next move."

Sari gave a deep sigh "Well, us just standing here on the station isn't going to help anything."

The seeker gave a dry snicker containing no fear or bravery "Well, no need delaying the inevitable confrontation."

The seeker kept a quick moderate speed, he barely had the energy fight this battle. The whole time he couldn't be sure if this was going to work. How powerful was a single fragment of the AllSpark and the key? And this makeshift armor/gauntlets had both questionable durability and of course the most important question; would it work?

The seeker kept quiet as did Sari looking over in the cockpit approaching the great ball of energy that seemed to just being stagnant. The techno-organic was still surprised that Tornedron hasn't made any kind of move. No sign of hostility as they continued to approach it.

Neither of them spoke. Mostly because it was such an eerie feeling. Despite how close they were getting...it was cold. A being made up of complete energy, emitting bright light as it were a sun...and yet it produced literally no heat. Despite space being the absence of heat, it seemed that Tornedron was able to give it a cold feeling.

Starscream finally stopped at was seemingly a few yards away from Tornedron. The bright light it emitted was so bright it basically completely engulfed them, the seeker's color scheme seemed to change to complete orange.

"This is it?" a voice boomed from the cloud of energy. It was somewhat similar to Unicron's from Starscream's memory though it was a bit smoother. "The last beings of energy."

Neither Starscream or Sari spoke, mostly because of the awe the being presented. Interestingly, Starscream could only wonder what he would be doing if he hadn't had his optics opened by Sari and the Autobots. If he'd just stayed his hasty, empty ambitious self. Would he even attempt to confront Tornedron? Or more likely try and fail to have Tornedron keep him around.

"Clearly" Starscream snickered characteristically "So the almighty Tornedron. Created by Primacron, and the brother of Unicron." He put his thumb and ring servos together rubbing them "And this is it?"

Sari was starting to get concerned, what was he so cocky about? In all honesty, she didn't know what to expect, but she was hoping that Starscream would fly into him and hopefully 'vacuum' him up or something. But instead...he was taunting him? She started to breath heavier concerned but didn't say anything.

"The being that has drained the entire galaxy, and now it's merely cloud that only exists to entertain a mere Cybertronian." He continued to mock.

"You are nothing." Tornedron boomed but Starscream didn't even finch this time "You are the last being of life, a mere drying light in nothing cold darkness."

The seeker chuckled "So what's the hold up?"

"You will exhaust your remaining energy on your own. You will fade into nothing like all life I have taken."

Starscream now laughed manically, seemingly giving into his inner Decepticon nature, again startling Sari "So that's it? You have to just stand around old creator's space station because two mere beings have the one thing that can harm you! Even your predecessor stood against the AllSpark. And what do you do? You merely watch" at this point the techno-organic noticed that Tornedron was glowing brighter she also noted a slight blue light coming from the key into the armor they made.

"You are a coward. Unicron and even your worthless creator stood up against overwhelming odds. But you, you fought to no true end." The being of energy started to engulf around them but Starscream continued "So are we merely watch you provide a useless lightshow. Conqueror of the galaxy and nothing to show for it."

All around them cloud was around them but the energy being did not consume them; the cloud of energy didn't make any kind of physical contact with them. It much like a being in a bright orange glowing box, or a cloud with a vacant cavity within it. The light was very bright, almost blinding as vivid orange color.

However, it was still cold. Despite being literally covered by energy, it was like being trapped in space with literally no energy. Starscream noted this but Sari was the one to notice the most.

"What now?" Sari asked finally, trying to keep her voice down.

He made slight chuckle "Trying to make him attack us. I don't thinking we'll be able to attack him head on."

Sari was breathing heavily as she gripped inside the cockpit. Despite how cold it was, she was sweating from nervousness. Neither of them had experienced anything like this before. So much was on the line and there was no way of knowing what was to happen next.

It was then a roar was heard, startling both the seeker and techo-organic. Before their very eyes/optics a creature manifested in front of them. It surprised both of them since the creature was...solid, it wasn't a cloud being like Tornedron was. The creature looked a lot like one Primacron's creations actually: a crudely manufactured being of organic and mechanical. It walked on all four, with claws and black fur. It was almost like a bear but with blue and white mechanical limbs. What was strange was that despite everything else holding the bright orange hue, the colors of this creature still came through.

"Well...that was not put into account." Starscream chuckled nervously.

The creature immediately charged at the seeker with vigorous speed, once again surprising the two of them. Despite being inside Tornedron, there was still no gravity, this made dodging a little different, but being an expert flyer made this a small challenge for the seeker.

Starscream dodged the beings assault by floating to the side. He quickly grabbed a hold of the side creature, particularly the mechanical plating on the side. From the inertia and lack of gravity, was able to rip it off. The creature cried in pain as the seeker threw the constructed piece of machinery the side.

Sari was having a hard time keep herself together, being violently moved around like this. Even being strapped in, she was still flopping around as Starscream moved around like nothing was going on. Part of her thought she was going to vomit, but she was able to keep it together. From there she noticed the creature they were facing. The piece of armor that Starscream ripped off was emitting an orange gas, as if it was a substitute for it's blood.

"Starscream look!" She pointed despite Starscream not being able to see it.

"I've injured it. The fight's not over." He answered quickly, waiting for the creature to make it's next move.

"No! Look at where you hurt it!" The seeker did as he was told and saw what she was talking about. He noticed the liquid like gas seeping out. He audibly smirked. "Time to get offensive!"

The seeker chuckled as he flew toward the creature. The creature tried to avoid the jet but he gripped him again and him violently trusted in his gauntlet into the bleeding wound. The creature cried again. It was then the gauntlet turned a bright blue and the before his optics the creature was absorbed through the gauntlet, turning to gas as it did then disappearing.

The seeker chuckled "Seems our little experiment wasn't in vain."

Sari inwardly smiled but she couldn't help but think that wasn't going to be enough "How long do you think you can hold out?"

Sari all of sudden felt a jolt of fear through Starscream. Due to gripping his internal console, he techno-organic abilities seemed to be going off on their own. Even though she could hear him smirking, she could feel otherwise.

"Spare me the moment of doubt. After all my dear Sari, Tornedron is running out of options." He chuckled but it noticeably lacking it's usual integrity.

Once again before they could continue another being manifested in front of him. Both Sari and the seeker immediately gasp at what was in front of them. It was the very creature that they saw in the cave. The massive multicolored monster with massive claws that was on Earth for a reason that they have yet to discover.

"Primus..." the ex-Decepticon said silently. He didn't have any weapons to fight it this time he only had his bare servos. The makeshift armor wasn't reliable for an actual fight, it was made to hopefully absorb Tornedron, one way or another. But they only had one known away. And with no weapons, this was going to be a challenge.

However this was the first time the two of them actually got a good look at the thing. Once again it was on all fours, however this time it seemed to be completely organic, no armor or any kind of mechanical enhancement or attachment. It was also bear like though it didn't have much of a snout or even a snub tail, just a large round creature.

"Why create this?" Sari said under her breath at the sight.

"After meeting Primacron, you're really asking that?" The seeker rolled his optics but his attention was still focused on the new opponent. "Hmm... Tornedron was created by Primacron, his constructs must be limited to his previous creations."

"How did it get on Earth though? We didn't even know what it was when we first saw it." she asked aloud seeing the energy constructed beast snarling at them.

"It matters not" The seeker smirked, almost as if trying to convince himself "This creature is merely another obstacle, Tornedron will run out of options."

At this point the beast jumped into the air with an downward slash as the seeker hovered away. It was a strange site really. Even though Starscream was moving without gravity, the creature seemed to be moving like it was. Or at least it seemed to be able to control itself as it there was gravity. It was then that Sari was able to tell that escape wasn't an option in this case. Even though the seeker could move around, he never seemed to be getting further way or closer to any energy constructed wall, as if Tornedron was focusing on the seeker always in the center of this 'arena'.

The seeker counterattacked with hard punch to the side of it's snarling face put was quickly slash toward the seeker thus hitting his arm and damaging the gauntlet. The seeker hovered backward as it continued it's barrage of slashes. The jet immediately hovered above the creature jet trusted on it's back grabbing a hold of it.

This whole fight just seemed to be alien to the seeker. Most fights that he was in were mostly firefights weather it be on foot or in the air. Not to say he'd never had a straight up servo to servo confrontation but it wasn't his forte.

Whilst trying to keep a grip on the creature, he was hoping his sharp servos would draw blood, but unfortunately the creature's thick fur and rough skin made this next to impossible. In time the large creature was able to loosen the Seeker's grip and forced him off.

Starscream quickly recovered using the lack of gravity to getting back into a fighting position. "The original was able to so easy to subdue with my null rays."

Sari didn't know what to say or recommend. She had a hard time keeping her breath considering how much Starscream was moving around. Considering he was moving around so fast, she was thankful she was buckled in, but she was getting dizzy from it. It was probably a good thing she hadn't eaten anything in awhile.

When Starscream recovered from the blow she was able to focus her thoughts and readjust her sight. As her vision cleared she saw another strange beast manifest in the cloud of energy above him. "Look up!"

The seeker did as instructed to see the clawed beast coming toward him. Instinctually, he put up his arm to block the incoming attack. It scratched the makeshift gauntlet further and it gripped with a bite. Starscream attempted to throw it off but it only resulted in him losing the whole gauntlet in the process.

"Primus!" he growled.

All of a sudden, the seeker was pushed hard in the back throwing him off guard. He looked behind to see another constructed creature rammed him throwing him off. The seeker reacted quickly however, using his jet thrusters, he was able to get off of the creature and the now two other relenting creatures.

"To the left!" Sari cried.

The seeker turned to the addressed direction to see another unknown creature coming out of nowhere. The seeker tried to evade it, but the creature got a hold of the other gauntlet. The seeker forcibly pried creature off but it only ended off ripping off most of the gauntlet as well.

"Well so much for that!" The seeker yelled out, flying over the creatures, but still seemed to be stagnant since he never seemed to be getting further or closer to any of the energy constructed walls.

"We can't give up!" she cried out once again.

"I don't know what else to do!" The seeker admitted his fear now showing "Tornedron can probably construct as many of these creatures as he wants." he stopped looking at the creatures now coming toward them in a large group "I can't escape, it's our last stand."

Sari looked around till finally letting a few tears fall finally seeing the oncoming onslaught. "Thanks for staying till the end..."

Starscream was visibly touched by the last bit of gratitude. It was strange really. This whole adventure, while it seemed to be getting more and more hopeless, he's never felt more and more optimistic. He felt that despite everything, he'd truly made something out of all of this. For a long time he believed that the 'lessons in failure' was just incompetence excuses, even as a scientist, but now after everything, he'd finally find out what it all meant.

"I must say, you're defiantly a special creature." he said silently.

Sari gave one last smirk despite her tears  "Well, let's give it all we got!"

He chuckled "Like the old Cybertronian Battle cry...Till All Are One!"

The seeker flew straight into them as hard as he could, no longer trying to conserve last bit of energy he had. He hit them all as hard as he could, not concern about his own being. Sari cheered him on as he relentlessly fought on, using the last of the armor to absorb them when he was able to harm them effectively.

But despite his best efforts, he was quickly subdued with overwhelming odds as they came. Before he knew it as a large claw came across his body where the armor was, cut the key out of embedding within. Starscream was now vulnerable.

Sari felt as if time had slowed down as she saw the key just now drift into the area between them. She could see other creatures coming their way, thus having the two of them be hallowed out husks of metal. She eyed the key drift away from them. Now only seconds away from the end.

"STARSCREAM!" She yelled as hard and loud as she could "EJECT ME!"

To her surprise, Starscream didn't questioned her and merely did as requested even though he didn't know why. Opening his cockpit and ejecting her like any other pilot. She removed the safety belts and got herself off from the seat, further launching her.

Despite the lack of oxygen and now entering in the freezing aura emitting from Tornedron's constructed area, she didn't feel it, she was so focused. The powerful ejection flew her toward the desired object barely getting a hold of it from only the necklace. Still using the lack of gravity and propulsion speed to her advantage, she quickly positioned herself like a spear toward the constructed wall.

Starscream was now captured and felt the energy leaving him as the beast gripped him but he saw Sari actually making distance, thus making it to Tornedron's full form. He laughed as his optics dimmed from energy depletion.

Sari could barely keep her eyes open from the coolness but she saw the wall and the key stabbed through Tornedron's full form. Sari let go of the key as the key violently started sparking and electricity emitting from it.

An incoherent brigade of noise from the constructed beasts and Tornedron echoed all around them. As the key sparked the all of the things Tornedron had created started dissipate before her very eyes. The key glowed a shinning blue as the energy leech seemed, just like all the other creations absorbed. Everything around them started to disappear leaving only the vacuum of deep space.

Sari difted away from the lack of gravity from the sight and was able to see everything happening around them. She could hardly see Starscream though. From a distance she saw the key's bright blue change to orange.

"Oh no..." she thought tiredly and freighting.

The key then started to melt leaving only the fragment that was embedded within it. However, Tornedron continued to come consumed by the still blue fragment and before Sari knew it...Tornedron was gone. He was gone, no noise or even a hint of the energy cloud's existence.

Nothing...no light aside from her barely emitting blue eyes and the shining fragment. It was...frightening. Nothing could be heard or seen. She looked behind her to see if Starscream was there but...there was nothing. She couldn't even see his optics if they were there.

She wanted to cry, after all this and succeeding, but to what end? Tornedron was gone...but so was everything else...and she wasn't going to last much longer. "Starscream...anyone..." she said silently.

She was alone. Alone in the deep dark void of space. Not even the beauty of stars to leave some impression of hope or life or even the faintest of noise. She was the last being of freewill and thought, now lost in the middle of nowhere without anyone or anything.

The key now glowed bright them before catching her completely off guard through her moment of despair. Before she knew it, the fragment exploded before her very eyes, blowing her into the barely visible and functioning Starscream.

The lack of nutrition and sleep was finally about to take it toll. As she flew back and lied down on the very hard metal of the Cybertronian. She tried to keep her eyes open as her vision blurred. But before she loss consciousness...she could've sworn she saw stars...
Well...this took longer than I expected. Well one more after this one and it will conclude. Yeah this was actually supposed to be done by Christmas or at least within the year 2015 but...clearly that didn't happen...so uh...yeah...
